Ratings: WGN America’s “Salem” Sinks from Season Premiere

Late last week, WGN America issued a press release confirming its original drama “Salem” received a sizable live+3 time-shifting lift.

The presence of such a lift will become even more important this week. Sunday’s “Salem” suffered a considerable week-over-week decline in the live-plus-same-day ratings.

Sunday’s installment drew a 0.11 adults 18-49 rating with 376,000 viewers. Both numbers were down from those of the April 5 season premiere, which scored a 0.22 with 510,000 viewers.

Despite the week-over-week decline, this week’s “Salem” still drew a larger audience than many season one episodes.
