Ellie Goulding’s “Love Me Like You Do” Enters Pop Radio’s Top 5

As they did last week, the top three positions on Mediabase’s pop radio airplay chart belong to Taylor Swift’s “Style,” Maroon 5’s “Sugar” and Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” respectively.

This week’s first shakeup comes at #4. Instead of belonging to Mark Ronson’s “Uptown Funk (featuring Bruno Mars),” the slot plays host to Ellie Goulding’s ascending “Love Me Like You Do.”

The “50 Shades of Grey” single, which claimed #6 on last week’s chart, rises to #4 this week. It earns the Top 5 placement on the strength of its 15,206 weekly spins (+1,527).

In addition to sending “Uptown Funk” down one place, the rise of “Love Me Like You Do” booted Pitbull’s “Time of Our Lives (featuring Ne-Yo)” from the Top 5. That song slips to #6 this week (14,029 spins).

A multi-format hit, “Love Me Like You Do” holds the #5 position at Hot AC radio, the #15 spot at AC radio and a Top 40 spot at rhythmic.
