Taylor Swift’s “Style” Remains #1 at Pop, Reaches #1 at Hot AC

Still in “Style” at pop, Taylor Swift’s latest single also sits atop the hot adult contemporary radio mountain.

“Style,” the third single from Swift’s “1989,” is the #1 song on this week’s Mediabase pop and Hot AC airplay charts.

Pop radio’s leader for a third straight week, “Style” received 18,188 spins during the March 22-28 tracking week. While the sum does trail last week’s total, it was enough to narrowly hold off Maroon 5’s “Sugar.” The recipient of 18,091 spins, that song remains #2 this week.

“Style,” meanwhile, reaches #1 at hot adult contemporary for the first time. The song’s Hot AC lead comes courtesy its 7,094 tracking week spins.

Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud,” which reigned over the Hot AC chart last week, slips to #2 (6,917 spins).

In reaching #1 at pop and Hot AC radio, “Style” follows in the successful footsteps of previous “1989” singles “Shake it Off” and “Blank Space.”
