Seth Rogen, Ed Sheeran “SNL” Ratings Tie Season Low in Households

Down in both households and total viewers from the last telecast–which was no slam dunk in its own right–the weekly “Saturday Night Live” telecast was not a ratings winner.

One, in fact, might call it a ratings loser given the fact that its 3.9 household rating ties the season low set by Edward Norton’s episode on October 26, 2013.

While not a season low, its 2.1 adults 18-49 rating was unimpressive.

To the NBC variety show’s credit, the episode, which featured host Seth Rogen and musical guest Ed Sheeran, was the night’s top-rated telecast on network television.

But there is similarly no denying that for the fourth week in a row, “SNL” failed to hit a proverbial ratings slam dunk.

The show returns on May 3 with host Andrew Garfield and musical guest Coldplay.
