Katy Perry Finally Releases Official “Dark Horse” Video

“Dark Horse (featuring Juicy J),” the song responsible for Katy Perry’s longest reign at number one since 2010’s “California Gurls,” finally has a music video.

While many songs rely on music videos to catapult into the upper portion of the Billboard Hot 100, “Dark Horse” will instead use the new, Egyptian-themed music video to remain in a dominant chart position.

Presently enjoying its fourth week atop the Hot 100, “Dark Horse” is under fire from Pharrell’s “Happy.” The tune, which originated on the “Despicable Me 2” soundtrack, came within 5 percentage points of overtaking “Dark Horse” on this week’s Hot 100.
