“Glee” Ratings Steady for Fan-Hated Christmas Episode

Critics, at best, found Tuesday’s Christmas edition of “Glee” to be tolerable. Many fans labeled it the worst episode of “Glee” ever on their Twitter accounts. But viewers had no way of knowing it would be a bad episode prior to watching, and no matter how hated it ultimately was, the “Extraordinary Merry Christmas” edition of the show managed to hold steady in the ratings.

On par with last week’s fast nationals, the preliminary adults 18-49 rating for “Glee” came in at a 2.9 with a viewership average of 7.1 million.

“Glee” has, more often than not this season, received a slight upward adjustment in the finals, and if the same is true this week, it will remain on par with its recent performances.

“The New Girl” followed with a 3.3 and 6.8 million, while “Raising Hope” landed at a 2.3 and 5.1 million.
