WWE Confirms the End of the Roster Split, Sort Of

WWE’s storyline COO announced on Monday’s RAW that the roster split will no longer apply to the weekly RAW broadcast.

For the foreseeable future, WWE will book RAW as a “Super Show” that features wrestlers from RAW and SmackDown! Names like Randy Orton, Sin Cara, Christian, Mark Henry and Sheamus worked Monday’s RAW to help get over the concept, as well as to promote Tuesday’s live SmackDown!

Triple H’s announcement did not, however, confirm that WWE would do away with the idea of “separate brands,” just that the separation would not apply to the RAW telecast.

It was also not clear from Triple H’s announcement that SmackDown! will also feature the entirety of both rosters, although it is not as if WWE has played hard-and-fast with the brand separation anyway. And Tuesday’s live SmackDown! will feature RAW names like CM Punk and John Cena.
