WWE RAW Ratings Again Weak for CM Punk Promo, Triple H Announcement

Unless WWE has something major planned for the next few weeks, the “shock TV” portion of its angle with CM Punk seems to be over. And there is little to show for the angle in the ratings.

Neither Punk’s explanation of his return nor Triple H’s big announcement regarding the WWE Championship drew anything special this week, with Monday Night RAW’s viewership staying effectively flat week-to-week.

Although the show was up slightly to a 3.3 cable coverage rating, its viewership slid a bit to 4.7 million. Notable was the weak growth from hour-to-hour; the show’s second portion added an average of only 50,000 viewers (4.68 million to 4.73 million) and stayed flat in the adults 18-49 demo.

The 1.7 demo rating was the same as last week’s number.
