WWE RAW Ratings Continue Falling, “Tough Enough” Again Disappoints

The post-WrestleMania lull for WWE has officially kicked in, and the presence of the NBA Playoffs is not helping matters.

WWE RAW again fell, this time to a 3.1 cable coverage rating with a 1.6 adults 18-49 rating. Worse for RAW was the fact that the audience declined over the two hours, moving from viewership of 4.83 million and a 1.7 A18-49 rating at 9PM to a 4.65 million average with a 1.6A18-49 rating at 10PM.

WWE might, however, see revitalized interest over the next two weeks. The company called a shotgun draft for next Monday’s show, while Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson has been booked for a birthday celebration the following week.

— 8PM entry “Tough Enough,” meanwhile, continues to underperform for WWE and USA. The show declined to a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating with 2.20 million viewers Monday, posting a 1.3 cable coverage number in the process. Clearly better-suited for the post-RAW slot at 11PM, “TE” is becoming increasingly unattractive as an 8PM alternative to re-runs of “NCIS.”
