WWE Confirms Roster Draft For Next Week’s RAW

Discussion that WWE would refrain from holding a draft this year proved incorrect; the company confirmed plans for its latest roster draft on next Monday’s RAW.

Set to air on the April 25 edition of RAW, the 2011 WWE Draft will see top WWE Superstars and Divas booked to jump from RAW to SmackDown! (or vice versa). With “Tough Enough” occupying the 8PM slot, the draft episode will be a two-hour edition of RAW in the normal window.

In addition to there being no real mention of a prospective draft prior to the Monday press release, the fact that WWE has not really been holding firmly to the roster split in 2011 also suggested the company might bypass holding a draft. But, come next Monday, RAW and SmackDown! will indeed have different dynamics.
