WWE Announces Celebrity for Hall of Fame, Sheamus Changes Gimmick

WWE Superstar Sheamus announced at a weekend house show that his character is dropping the “King Sheamus” gimmick and reverting back to its original “Celtic Warrior” persona. Sheamus has effectively been “jobbed out” since his King of the Ring victory.

— WWE confirmed Monday that Drew Carey will be this year’s inductee to the “Celebrity Wing” of its Hall of Fame. Carey notoriously worked the 2001 Royal Rumble as a surprise entrant.

Currently the host of “The Price is Right,” Carey will be launching “Drew Carey’s Improv-A-Ganza” on GSN this April.
