TNA Sends Jeff Hardy Home Following Victory Road, Backstage Frustration

Various sources reported on an aura of internal frustration within TNA Wrestling in response to the Jeff Hardy situation at Sunday night’s Victory Road pay-per-view.

While many were indeed sour on Jeff Hardy himself for allegedly being in a condition that rendered him unable to wrestle a full main-event match against Sting, PWInsider.com adds that there was additional disappointment directed at TNA management. Insofar as the matches on the card did not receive a long-term build anyway, the feeling was that it would have been far more appropriate and fan-friendly to deliver a full match with a substitute for Hardy than to book him in a quick, 88 second bout.

As for Hardy, PWInsider.com reports that he was “sent home” and will not be present at this week’s iMPACT! tapings.
