WWE’s Vince McMahon, John Cena Emerge as Big Michael Cole Fans

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE Chairman Vince McMahon has been thrilled with the unfolding of the feud between RAW announcers Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole.

McMahon has a particular attachment to the angle due to the fact that he has been feeding the RAW play-by-play announcer many of his “heel” lines for television. While Cole is certainly being applauded for his delivery, the material itself can largely be traced to WWE’s head honcho.

In an interesting story, John Cena and Michael Cole have reportedly become travel partners when en route to WWE television events. F4WOnline.com identifies the two as “best friends.”

  1. For anyone who has been following WWE from the time it was WWF … and Vince was a ringside announcer, it is quite obvious that Micheal Cole (the Cole sore! loved that one) has been following the same script pattern that Vince did. Was intertaining but they need to move on now. I just wish they would write some new material.
