After winning an Emmy for his work as Sheldon on CBS’ hit comedy “The Big Bang Theory,” Jim Parsons can now add a Golden Globe to his trophy case.

The “Big Bang” lead beat out veteran names like Alec Baldwin and Steve Carell for the television actor in a comedy award at the 68th Annual Golden Globes.

Laura Linney won the corresponding female award, meanwhile, for her work on “The Big C.”
