WWE Wrestlers Want Hall of Famer Back on RAW, Mae Young Note

Based on popular legend, Mae Young’s involvement on Monday’s RAW would make her the first person to wrestle in nine decades (1930s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, 2000s and 10s). F4WOnline.com notes, however, that many believe the 1939 debut date is worked and that she did not actually begin wrestling until 1941. Most available documentation backs up the 1941 date.

— Various reports indicate that many within the WWE lockerroom were clamoring for Jim Ross to return to commentary following his brief appearance on Monday’s RAW. As an effort to get over Michael Cole’s anti-JR persona, WWE interestingly Re-Tweeted a Chris Jericho crack: “The difference between JIm Ross and Micheal Cole is the difference between Paul Newman and Paulie Shore.”
