TMZ Works TNA Wrestling Angle Over JWoww, Cookie Interaction

TMZ.com, which first reported the news of JWoww’s TNA Wrestling appearance and has dedicated some mainstream coverage to the story, published a worked article on the story Sunday.

Reporting that the “Jersey Shore” star, real name Jenni Farley, went “beyond the call of duty” in her physical interaction with Cookie, the story says the TNA roster member was legitimately perturbed by the stiffness of JWoww’s offense.

Yet the outlet features blatantly worked quotes from the female wrestler regarding the situation.

Cookie apparently told TMZ, “I really think that girl needs to look into some counseling. Her anger issues are obviously out of control,” adding, “Then again if my face looked like that, I’d be pretty pissed at the world too.”

TMZ notes that TNA “medical personal” evaluated Cookie after the iMPACT! angle was shot last week but ultimately deemed the wrestler to be fine.
