WWE Announces NXT Season 2 Winner, NXT Season 3 Rookies

Following the lead of the first WWE NXT season finale, the season two closer crowned a winner while simultaneously introducing the Pros and Rookies for the next season.

The third–and presumably final, given the show’s expiration date on SyFy–season of NXT will consist entirely of Diva rookies. Competing next season will be AJ Lee (with Primo as her Pro), Aloisia (formerly Isis the Amazon, with Vickie Guerrero as her Pro), Jamie Keyes (former NXT ring announcer, with the Bellas as her Pros), Aksana (with Goldust as her Pro), Maxine (formerly Liviana, with Alicia Fox as her Pro) and Naomi Knight (with Kelly Kelly as her Pro).

As for the NXT season two results, of the three remaining contestants, Alex Riley was the first eliminated. It was then announced that Kaval outranked Michael McGillicutty to become the NXT Season Two winner.
