Bret Hart Confirms WWE RAW Appearance, Randy Orton Injury Update

In a Facebook update that also included words of condolences for the loss of Luna Vachon, Bret “Hit Man” Hart confirmed his plans to appear at the 900th episode of RAW Monday night.

Hart wrote, “As I head off to Boston for Monday Night Raw, I’m flooded with a wide array of memories going all the way back to my Hart Foundation days with Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart.”

“Hit Man” reflects on several other memories from RAW, all connected to WWE’s plans to air historical RAW moments on the milestone show Monday.

He added, “I think my favorite Raw of all time was the show where “Stone Cold” Steve Austin destroyed my knee with a chair in a street fight match and I was hauled out in an ambulance with Davey and Owen at my side. When Steve turned out to be the driver and then proceeded to unleash a vicious beating on all of us, it was brilliant and was a monumental turning point for both Austin and the WWE. I heard they might air the clip where I lost it and started swearing like crazy, cussing at Vince McMahon for screwing me over.”

— PWInsider.com reports that Randy Orton was dealing with a sore shoulder and neck this weekend. It was not believed to be anything serious, but as a precaution, WWE scaled back the physicality of his involvement at the Newark, NJ house show.
