The Nexus Spurs WWE NXT Rating Increase

Even up against the dominant MLB All Star Game on FOX, WWE NXT found a way to achieve a ratings increase, thanks in large part to the presence of the Nexus faction.

The returning season one rookies led Tuesday’s episode to a viewership tally of 1.446 million, up from last week’s count of 1.128 million. Among adults 18-49, the rating improved from a 0.3 to a 0.4.

The cable household rating came in at a 1.1, with the aggregate household value landing at a 0.9.

Although NXT remains a ratings disappointment, the uptick this week at least proved that WWE can bring additional eyeballs to the show with the right promotion.
