WWE’s Surprising Backstage Favorite on NXT Season 2

While his struggle to garner fan votes could result in an early departure from the show, Husky Harris has become an internal favorite on the current season of WWE NXT.

Although most wrestlers are sour the gimmicked name given to the third generation Superstar, they feel he is one of the more complete performers on the show. The feeling is that his athleticism contrasts well with his overweight look, giving him an appeal similar to Dusty Rhodes, F4WOnline.com’s Wrestling Observer Newsletter noted.

His portrayal as a heel and years of WWE promoting the importance of a good physique work against him in terms of the fan vote, but he definitely is in position to receive a solid long-term opportunity with WWE.

In that regard, he can interestingly be compared to Maryse, who made no fan impact at all during the Diva Search but was viewed as an internal favorite with a great look and enthusiasm for wrestling.
