WWE RAW Stars Wrestle Nexus, Dark Matches From SmackDown!

WWE held two dark matches after this week’s SmackDown! tapings, one of which included the long-awaited in-ring battle between some WWE RAW stars and the Nexus faction.

Report courtesy Jason Barnes of PROwrestling.net:

1. Rey Mysterio defeated Big Show, Kane, and Jack Swagger in a four-way match to retain the World Hvt. Championship. Kane dragged Swagger to the ring where Big Show was waiting. Rey limped to the ring and delivered a 619 on Swagger while he had Show in an ankle lock. Mysterio splash on Swagger to win at 4:53.

2. John Cena, John Morrison, Randy Orton, Sheamus, Edge, and Chris Jericho defeated The Nexus in a six-on-six match. Darren Young was out due to Cena’s attack on Raw. Before the match, Jericho and Edge brawled. Both men walked out on their team. Sheamus said he was lucky to be able to tag with such legendary superstars but he was not feeling it tonight so good luck.

Nexus beat on Morrison for a while. Morrison made a hot tag to Orton. There was a beat down on Orton for awhile followed by a hot tag to Cena, who beat up the world. “You Can’t See Me” on Wade Barrett. All nine men in the ring. Double finisher on Skip Sheffield and David Ortunga by Cena and Orton. The Raw guys won and the crowd went crazy! Cena, Orton, and Morrison posed in the ring.
