WWE Allows Fans To Watch Jeff Hardy’s TNA Return

Perhaps designed to send a message that it does not see TNA as real competition, USA Network’s WWE RAW went off the air several minutes prior to the conclusion of TNA iMPACT!

By going off early, WWE allowed wrestling fans to switchover in time to see the conclusion of the Hulk Hogan & Abyss vs. Ric Flair & AJ Styles tag match and the subsequent run-in by former WWE World Champion Jeff Hardy.

While even an extremely significant viewership increase for those final few moments of iMPACT! will not be enough to drastically alter the average rating for the show’s two hours, TNA still nonetheless benefited from an opportunity to expose WWE fans to a few minutes of a segment featuring some of wrestling’s most well-known names.

  1. Yeah, I watched Jeff Hardy appear at the end of TNA. Instead of being excited though, I felt sad for the collection of talent in that ring wasting their time being part of a promotion that doesn’t have a clue what to do with itself.

TNA has become all about Hogan, Bischoff, and castaways that should have been retired at least 10 years ago (Foley, Sting, Flair, Nash, Hall, Nasty Boys) or people who could not draw flies covered in crap (Nasty Boys, Eric Young, Abyss). And, why so much Bubba the Love Tool, Earl Hebner, and Brooke Hogan? Would it been so hard to give some time to the X-Division or Samoa Joe or the Knockouts that carried the company for almost two years?

WWE RAW was okay. Not good but not bad… and certainly not as crappy as Impact.

  2. I do agree with you Aaron on the fact that they feature people sometimes that are not worth a damn (nasty boys), but they were not shown on last nights program. Also they did feature the xdivision last night in a great match. Ive been a fan of wwe since I was a baby but TNA is killing WWE when it comes to wrestling. There were 2 matches at the start of the show in the same amount of time it took the same ol shit of shawn michaels and undertaker to talk on wwe. Oh wow once again cena gets beat up by batista, didnt i see that last week? Oh ya the week before that too. While i was watching great matches on TNA I flip during comercial to Santino and chris angel in the back doing magic tricks! Come on WWE is going down hill big time.

  3. yes, i also agree with you guys. i think tna should give more importance to its young wrestlers. i hope tna won’t do the same mistake as wcw did 10 years ago. tna must go with its young wrestlers rather than these old fat guys.
