After several weeks of auditions and two weeks of Hollywood, the ninth “American Idol” semifinalist pack has finally been completed.
“Idol” began its top 24 reveal Tuesday, with heavily-hyped names like Michael “Big Mike” Lynche, Casey James and Didi Benami earning a spot in the semifinal phase of the competition. Wednesday’s show completed the groups of twelve males and twelve males as “American Idol” now prepares for the live/fan-voting portion of the competition.
Among those through on the male side are Andrew Garcia, who was one of the most touted contestants in the audition phase of the competition and Tyler Grady. Females in the running include early favorites Katie Stevens and Crystal Bowersox.
