Major Name Set to Debut for TNA Wrestling

While delivering on expected appearances from Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall and Sean Waltman at Monday’s TNA iMPACT! special, the company also welcomed a surprise debut and return from Ric Flair and Jeff Hardy, respectively.

And it appears they will not be the last major names to unexpectedly start with TNA.

Correspondent reports of the most recent Pain Clinic radio show say that TNA’s Jeremy Borash confirmed a “big surprise” debut for next weekend’s TNA Genesis pay-per-view.

  1. Geez, it’s like they just copied their playbook in 1998 when the MNW was in it’s height they,TNA, started an hr early got the WWE stars from the past,Ric Flair ,Jeff Hardy , Val Venis, Xpac and Scott Steiner.I betcha next week when they start time 9pm they will actually start at 8:55pm that is the trick monday nitro started. As for the “big suprise” I don’t think it will be big.Unless it is The Rock or Stone Cold Steve Austin not much “surprise” for me.My bet it might be Goldberg. That is my gut feeling .

  2. I must say I a kinda disapointed a little with TNA.They claim to focus on their “young stars” as Hulk Hogan liked to point out last week but they only should former WWE stars in their show. The WWE show had a lot more young stars in their roster although I was more disappointed at Raw last week ,what a let down.12 years in the making Bret Hart returning they could have made a big deal out of it but they did not. They had a chance to make an impact ,pardon the expression, but they chose to safe.Did not exploit what could have been a big confrontation with Shawn Michaels Bret and Vince Mcmahon.I don’t even know if there is a word to discribe that boring segment with Bret and vince.

  3. sawthisonecoming – completely agree with you, raw was a huge let down and left me really dissapointed. For TNA however its still early days and they should be given a chance however in contrast to raw it was alot more fresh with the arrival of hardy. Hardy is by far the best wrestler in the business and is a big coup for TNA. I feel TNA will reveal either Goldberg or Mr Kennedy at genesis who are hardly huge stars.

  4. matthew to a certain extent your right raw was a huge let down but come on bret hart coming back was amazing to see. I watched both raw and impact and although I am wwe all the way TNA definitely won the battle. They wont get either the rock or austin 3:16 as austin is guest host for raw in march and the rock has his films to worry about. I agree with most here either goldberg or kennedy, I hope its goldberg, legend

  5. HEY BRETT HART &HULK HOGAN ON LIVE! AT THE SAME TIME..I LOVED THEM BOTH!,OF COURSE HART WAS THE MORE INTERESTING STORY LINE..SEEING ALL THE OLD FACES WAS GREAT AS LONG AS THEY DONT GET ALL THE CAMERA TIME?IF THIS IS A TASTE OF WHATS TO COME THEN ALL WRESTLING FANS ARE IN FOR A GREAT YEAR!!BRET PUTING MCMAHON IN THE SHARPSHOOTER WOULD BE A DREAM COME TRUE!!

  6. its goldberg remember what easy e said last thursday on tna when he was on the phone to someone cant wait to see ya it will be like old times so it cant be no other person than goldberg wrestling is gonna be fun to watch again like it was before
