— Comedian Dennis Miller will serve as the guest host of WWE’s three-hour RAW on Monday. The episode also features the Slammy Award announcements.
— There had been some back-and-forth regarding the decision to give DX the Unified Tag Championship belts at WWE TLC. On the one hand, the feeling was that giving the belts to DX would instantly elevate the tag team titles to main-event status, a feat WWE had been hoping to accomplish for quite some time. On the other hand, WWE views Chris Jericho as one of its MVP performers and was hesitant to remove his storyline justification for appearing weekly on RAW.
Because of the latter fact, there are some who believe Jericho’s team might swiftly recapture the belts. At press time, however, it is Triple H and Shawn Michaels who possess the gold.
— Based on the exchange with Batista and Theodore Long, the expectation is that WWE will announce a Batista-Taker rematch on SmackDown! this week.
