Movie News: Latest On “Wall Street 2,” “Green Hornet,” “Red Dawn” Remake

— Variety reports that Frank Langella has joined the cast of anticipated sequel “Wall Street 2: Money Never Sleeps.”

Fresh off his Oscar-nominated turn as Richard Nixon in “Frost/Nixon,” Langella will play Lewis Zabel, a veteran broker who mentors Shia LaBeouf’s character, who is the sequel’s answer to the original film’s Bud Fox (Charlie Sheen).

Michael Douglas had already been booked to reprise his Oscar-winning role of Gordan Gekko, while Josh Brolin is also in talks to join the cast.

— Jay Chou has joined the cast of “The Green Hornet” as Kato. He replaces Stephen Chow, who departed the cast earlier this summer.

— Josh Hutcherson, Isabel Lucas, Connor Cruise and Edwin Hodge have joined the cast of the “Red Dawn” remake, according to THR. Chris Hemsworth, Josh Peck and Adrianne Palicki had already been tapped to appear. The film is set to open on September 24, 2010.
