TV News: “Gossip Girl,” “Grey’s Anatomy,” “House”

— The CW officially announced this week that “Gossip Girl” and “One Tree Hill” have swapped timeslots. The move puts “Gossip,” the CW’s most buzzed-about scripted series, at 9PM on Monday nights. Though the move puts “Gossip Girl” against CBS’ more popular Monday night comedies, it also moves the show away from FOX’s fall tentpole series “House,” which is slated to air at 8PM on Mondays this fall.

— Jessica Capshaw has been bumped up to series regular on “Grey’s Anatomy,” reports Entertainment Weekly.

— Title star Hugh Laurie confirmed this week that the season premiere of “House” will focus purely on Dr. House’s institutionalization storyline; of the main characters, only House and Wilson are scheduled to appear.
