R&B sensation Usher Raymond has filed for divorce from wife Tameka Foster, says a report by People Magazine.
Court records reveal that the divorce was filed on Friday. The couple, which has two children together, married in August 2007.
Gossip magazines had speculated on the split for several days; PEOPLE reports that the two had been leading “separate lives,” with Usher spending much of his time recording in Las Vegas.
“He’s done his best to keep Tameka away,” the PEOPLE source said.
No official representatives offered comments.
