According to PWInsider.com, all signs still point to The Undertaker making his WWE return in September.
The company had initially hoped he could work Summerslam, but as has been emphasized by Jim Ross taking a more conservative stance towards Taker’s return in his blog, there is no longer much optimism that he will be back in time.
Jeff Hardy reportedly agreed to work through the late August pay-per-view, so that takes some of the pressure off. Once Hardy departs, SmackDown! will be very thin on top-level babyfaces and essentially require a prompt Taker return.
