During Sunday afternoon’s Grammy Awards premiere ceremony, Chris Stapleton’s powerhouse song “Cold” won the trophy for Best Country Song. During the main show, Stapleton delivered an epic rendition of the song — one that easily ranked as one of the night’s top performances.

Those forces, coupled with Stapleton’s other wins (Best Country Solo Performance for “You Should Probably Leave” and Best Country Album for “Starting Over”) combined to send the song flying up the US iTunes song sales chart.

It reached #1 during the broadcast, seizing the throne from Harry Styles’ immensely buzzy new “As It Was.”

The Stapleton tune remains atop the all-genre listing as of 10:55PM ET.
