At Sunday’s American Music Awards, Halsey danced with a different partner: Dani Vitale.
The professional dancer and choreographer joined Halsey for a visually arresting take on “Graveyard.” The performance was one of the highlights of the night.
No stranger to Halsey, Vitale actually choreographed the aforementioned Billboard Music Awards performance.
Prior to Sunday’s AMA ceremony, Vitale teased the big moment in her Instagram story. “In my 12 years of being a professional dancer … This by far is the cherry on top of my career.”
Following the show, Halsey updated her story with appreciation for Vitale: “You are a true artist and friend. Thank you for being my partner and for choreographing so perfectly the emotions in my brain. You really understand me.”
