Saweetie is on the verge of scoring her first #1 at rhythmic radio.
Her song “My Type” is a near-lock to reach the top spot on this week’s Mediabase rhythmic chart.
The single received 3,571 spins during the first four days of the September 15-21 tracking period. Up 11% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “My Type” at #1 on Mediabase’s building chart.
With no clear threat from below, it should have no trouble retaining the position through the close of tracking.
“My Type” has proven to be a true breakthrough for Saweetie. It also hit the Top 10 at urban radio — and has been receiving airplay at pop. Also a solid streaming and sales performer, “My Type” has been faring well on the all-encompassing Billboard Hot 100.
