The music video for Lil Nas X’s “Panini” predictably enjoyed a mammoth first full week on YouTube. The video, in fact, soars to #1 on the US YouTube Music Videos Chart, while debuting at #2 on the Global listing.
“Panini” received 16.0 million views during the September 6-12 tracking period, which marked its first full week of release. The tally thrusts “Panini” from #19 (where it debuted last week based on just one day of tracking) to #1 on this week’s chart.
“Panini” actually received more than twice as many views as the #2 clip (YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s “Self Control” with 7.6 million views).
The Lil Nas X video meanwhile takes #2 on the Global chart with 43.4 million worldwide views. Only the star-studded “China” video attracted more tracking period viewership.
