Gabby Barrett’s single “I Hope” has been selling well since its release earlier this year.

A performance during last weekend’s “American Idol” broadcast helped increase its resonance.

On the heels of the performance, the song debuts at #36 on the all-genre Billboard Digital Song Sales chart. It also rises to a new peak of #11 on the Billboard Country Digital Song Sales chart, while hitting a new high of #31 on the all-encompassing Hot Country Songs listing.

Barrett placed third in the sixteenth season of “American Idol.” “I Hope” marks her first entry on the Digital Song Sales chart.
