This weekend’s edition of “Saturday Night Live” did not perform as well as last week’s broadcast. It nonetheless still ranked as the night’s top broadcast show in both households and adults 18-49.

Citing metered market data, NBC says Saturday’s “SNL” drew a 4.2 overnight household rating. It posted a 1.5 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets.

The numbers trail the 4.8 household rating and 1.8 adults 18-49 rating drawn by last week’s episode, which featured host Adam Sandler and musical guest Shawn Mendes. The 4.8 household number tied a season high.

This weekend’s “SNL” featured Emma Thompson in the hosting role and Jonas Brothers as musical performers.

Next week’s season finale has Paul Rudd hosting and DJ Khaled performing.
