While it did not restore the show to its ratings heyday, Tuesday’s edition of “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” fared well by the show’s recent standard.

Citing metered market data, NBC says Tuesday’s episode drew a 1.8 overnight household rating. It drew a 0.5 adults 18-49 rating in the Top 25 markets.

Featuring Kobe Bryant, Aidy Bryant, Natalie Morales and musical guest FLETCHER, the episode was the best-performing “Tonight Show” since March 1 (2.0, 0.5). That broadcast featured Dr. Oz, Ryan Seacrest, Jack Whitehall and Shin Lim.

Tuesday’s “Tonight Show” took second place among the major late-night shows in households (it lost to “Colbert” but beat “Kimmel”). It was the #1 flagship late-night program in adults 18-49 (“Colbert” and “Kimmel” both posted 0.4 ratings).
