Follow-up single “Talk” may be gaining traction, but Khalid’s “Better” is not done rising.
The song will move into the Top 5 on this week’s Mediabase pop radio airplay chart.
“Better” received 5,282 spins during the first three days of the March 17-23 tracking period. Up nearly 11% from the count at this point last week, the tally slots “Better” at #5 on Mediabase’s building/real-time pop chart.
As it does not face an imminent threat from below, “Better” should have no trouble retaining its Top 5 position through the close of tracking.
A multi-format hit, “Better” recently reached #1 at rhythmic radio.
