Thandie Newton, Peter Dinklage Receive Emmys For Supporting Acting In A Drama

The “Westworld” and “Game Of Thrones” stars picked up Emmy Awards.

Stars from two HBO dramas took home the Emmy Awards for Outstanding Supporting Acting in a Drama Series.

“Westworld” star Thandie Newton received the award for Supporting Actress, while “Game Of Thrones” star Peter Dinklage won the award in the Supporting Actor category.

Newton’s fellow nominees included Alexis Bledel, Millie Bobby Brown, Ann Dowd, Lena Headey, Vanessa Kirby and Yvonne Strahovski.

Dinklage beat out Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Joseph Fiennes, David Harbour, Mandy Patinkin and Matt Smith for his latest Emmy.

“Westworld” and “Game Of Thrones” are up for additional trophies Monday night, including the coveted Outstanding Drama prize.
