Instead of new contestants, Thursday’s edition of “The Four: Battle For Stardom” gave eight previous contestants another chance to make the season finale.

Two of those “comeback contestants” successfully reclaimed their seats.

After defeating fellow comeback contestant Stephanie Zelaya in an initial battle, Whitney Reign challenged Ali Caldwell. Reign defeated Caldwell, and thus seized her position in “The Four.”

James Graham also reclaimed his seat. Graham first defeated Jesse Kramer for the right to challenge a member of “The Four.” He then defeated JeRonelle McGhee to earn a spot in the finale.

The other comeback attempts proved unsuccessful. After defeating fellow returnee Lil Bri, rapper Dylan Jacob tested his skills against original “Four” member Sharaya J. Sharaya J successfully defended her seat.

Carvena Jones, meanwhile, defeated Ebon Lurks for the right to challenge Leah Jenea. She lost that second battle.

The final four — James Graham, Leah Jenea, Whitney Reign and Sharaya J — will take the stage in next Thursday’s finale.
