No, Thursday’s “The Four: Battle For Stardom” did not attract an audience on par with its first season average. It did not perform particularly well by broader TV standards.

It did, however, draw the show’s largest audience this season.

According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, Thursday’s “The Four” drew a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 2.57 million overall viewers.

The numbers top the 0.7 rating and 2.38 million viewer mark posted by the previous broadcast by the previous episode. Both numbers, moreover, rank as season highs.

Granted, they are still distantly below the show’s first season numbers. No first season episode went below a 1.1 in the demo or 3.29 million in viewers. The first season finale drew a 1.3 rating and 3.92 million viewers.
