Country radio welcomed the new Carrie Underwood single with decidedly open arms.
Picked up by 121 Mediabase-monitored country stations on impact, Underwood’s “Cry Pretty” ranks as the format’s most added song.
“Cry Pretty,” it should be noted, was not the only song to receive a healthy amount of support this week. Thomas Rhett’s new single “Life Changes” also made a splash, scoring adds from 83 stations in conjunction with its impact. It takes second place on the add board.
Kenny Chesney’s “Get Along” follows in third with 23 adds.
Each added by 13 stations, Brothers Osborne’s “Shoot Me Straight” and Old Dominion’s “Hotel Key” tie for fourth.
