Update: By announcing her as the co-host, NBC gave fans reason to expect plenty of Cardi B on Monday’s “Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
It did not mislead.
Cardi B appeared extensively on Monday’s broadcast. She participated in the monologue, joined Jimmy Fallon for an interview, helped Fallon interview John Mulaney, recorded a fan’s voicemail, played a game of Box of Lies, and performed.
Video highlights are being posted upon availability. Photos from the taping are also embedded.

Two nights after performing on NBC’s “Saturday Night Live,” Cardi B appears on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.”
Formally billed as a guest co-host, the breakout music star appears throughout Monday night’s episode.
She joins host Jimmy Fallon for a monologue. She participates in an interview, before helping Fallon interview fellow guest John Mulaney. She records a fan’s voicemail. She plays Box Of Lies. She also takes the stage to perform “Money Bag.”
The extensive “Tonight Show” visit comes in support of Cardi B’s “Invasion Of Privacy,” which was officially released this past Friday. As it is already a safe bet for #1, Monday’s “Tonight Show” performance will only help solidify its dominance.
