Carrie Underwood Essentially Confirms April 11 Release Date For New Single

Carrie Underwood’s new single finally apparently has a release date.

Earlier this week, Carrie Underwood shared a photo from inside the recording studio. Two days later, she shared a photo from rehearsals with her band.

Naturally, many interpreted the photos as confirmation that Underwood had plans to imminently release a new single.

That optimistic interpretation was evidently correct.

In a Sunday evening Tweet, Underwood revealed plans for a release at 6AM ET on April 11. While Underwood’s Tweet does not explicitly confirm a new single, that is the obvious implication.

In specifying the 6AM event time, Underwood is also implicitly confirming that the new release in question will be an official radio single. High-profile country radio singles — particularly those that launch at mid-week — tend to premiere at around that time (rather than at midnight).

Carrie Underwood’s Tweet is embedded below.
