Late last week, singer-songwriter Shawn Mendes commenced a new music era by releasing two new songs: “In My Blood” and “Lost In Japan.”
The singles, unsurprisingly, generated considerable attention. “In My Blood” still maintains a Top 2 position on US iTunes — and is flying at pop and hot adult contemporary radio.
That does not, however, mean he is uninterested in creating more excitement for the music.
As part of that promotional effort, Mendes appears on Wednesday’s “Late Late Show With James Corden.”
Mendes plays a game of “Flinch” with fellow guests Hilary Swank and Zach Woods. He also takes the stage for a performance.
In conjunction with Wednesday’s episode, CBS also revealed that Shawn Mendes will be returning for a week-long residency starting June 4.
Taped earlier in the day, Wednesday’s “Late Late Show” begin airing at 12:35AM on the east coast — and will air at that time on the west coast.
