“Hey Mama” is now a triple-platinum single in the United States.

David Guetta’s high-profile collaboration “Hey Mama” just scored a new multi-platinum honor in the United States.

The song, which features Nicki Minaj, Bebe Rexha and Afrojack, crossed the triple-platinum threshold on March 19, 2018.

The award signifies at least 3 million in US units. Each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

First released in early 2015, “Hey Mama” ended up reaching a peak of #8 on the Billboard Hot 100. It reached #1 on the genre-specific Hot Dance/Electronic Songs chart.

“Hey Mama” was also a big hit at the rhythmic and pop radio formats.
