David Guetta & Justin Bieber’s “2U” Earns Platinum Certification In US

“2U” recently surpassed 1 million US digital single units.

David Guetta’s 2017 collaboration with Justin Bieber just attained platinum status in the United States.

According to the RIAA, “2U (featuring Justin Bieber)” hit the platinum mark on March 8, 2018.

The award confirms 1 million in US units; each unit is equal to 1 paid download or 150 streams.

Released on June 9, 2017, “2U” peaked at #16 on the Billboard Hot 100. It also hit the Top 15 at pop radio and Top 20 at rhythmic radio.

The music video, which features numerous Victoria’s Secret Angels lip-syncing the song, boasts nearly 350 million views.
