Update: Thursday night’s “Late Show With Stephen Colbert” featured an appearance by Yara Shahidi.

The “Grown-ish” star, who was making her inaugural appearance on “The Late Show,” joined host Stephen Colbert for an interview.

Wednesday, Yara Shahidi participated in a taping for “Oprah’s Super Soul Conversations” at the Apollo Theater in Harlem.

Thursday, the “Grown-ish” star appears on CBS’ “Late Show With Stephen Colbert.”

Shahidi, who is making her first appearance on the program, joins host Stephen Colbert for an interview.

Taped earlier in the day, Thursday’s “Late Show” also features an interview with Joel McHale.

It concludes with a performance by modern rock band Joywave.
