ARIA just released this week’s Australian Top 50 Singles Chart, and it unsurprisingly features Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” at #1.
The global smash spends a third week as Australia’s biggest song.
Already rich with momentum, “Perfect” benefited from the release of an Andrea Bocelli version (“Perfect Symphony”) this week. The combination of the original version, the Beyonce version and the Bocelli version made “Perfect” an utterly imposing force — and the obvious #1 — on this week’s chart.
In addition to holding #1 with “Perfect,” Ed Sheeran appears at #2 on this week’s chart. Eminem’s “River,” which features Sheeran, debuts in that runner-up position.
Down one place, Camila Cabello’s “Havana (featuring Young Thug)” takes #3 this week.
Post Malone occupies the next two positions. His “I Fall Apart” holds at #4, while his “rockstar (featuring 21 Savage)” drops one place to #5.
Other notables on this week’s chart:
— Mariah Carey’s “All I Want For Christmas Is You” rises five places to #11.
— G-Eazy & Halsey’s “Him & I” jumps nine spots to #16.
— Pnau’s “Go Bang” climbs four places to #17.
— David Guetta & Afrojack’s “Dirty Sexy Money (featuring Charli XCX & French Montana)” ascends ten spots to #23.
— Calum Scott’s “You Are The Reason” climbs nine places to #27.
— Sheppard’s “Coming Home” jumps ten positions to #33.
— Wham’s “Last Christmas” re-enters at #37.
— Eminem’s “Walk On Water (featuring Beyonce)” re-enters at #44.
