NBC’s “Gwen Stefani’s You Make It Feel Like Christmas” posted solid live+same-day numbers Tuesday night.
According to fast national data posted by Showbuzz, the inaugural Gwen Stefani holiday special drew a 1.2 adults 18-49 rating and averaged 7.17 million overall viewers.
Among network programming, it finished second in the 9-10PM hour for both adults 18-49 and overall viewership. CBS’ “Bull” led in both columns.
A younger-skewing program than “Bull,” the Gwen Stefani special actually won the timeslot among women and men 18-34.
The numbers, moreover, compare favorably to those of this year’s “A Very Pentatonix Christmas Special.” That broadcast drew a 1.1 adults 18-49 rating and 5.47 million viewers on November 27, albeit in the less desirable 10PM timeslot.
The Gwen Stefani and Pentatonix specials both aired out of installments of “The Voice.”
The November 27 “The Voice” drew a 1.9 adults 18-49 rating and 9.60 million viewers from 8-10PM. This Tuesday’s “The Voice” drew a 1.7 rating and 9.75 million viewers from 8-9PM.
NBC’s Tuesday schedule also included “Chicago Med” (1.1, 6.24 million).
