The final twelve became the final eleven, as NBC’s “The Voice” said goodbye to a contestant during Tuesday’s results show.
Jon Mero was that unlucky contestant.
Mero and fellow Team Adam member Adam Cunningham were the week’s lowest vote-getters. They competed for the Instant Save during Tuesday’s hour-long “The Voice” episode.
Cunningham received more Twitter votes and will thus be advancing to the next round. Mero is going home.
With Mero eliminated, Team Adam is down to Cunningham and Addison Agen. Teams Blake (Chloe Kohanski, Keisha Renee, Red Marlow), Jennifer (Noah Mac, Davon Fleming, Shi’Ann Jones) and Miley (Janice Freeman, Brooke Simpson, Ashland Craft) are fully intact.
